Right of withdrawal

This is a translation for your convenience. The Danish version is the legally binding one.

When you buy as a consumer from Danske Designmøbler ApS, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal. That is more than the statutory 14 days.

The deadline

The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which you took physical possession of the furniture. If your order consists of several pieces delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last piece.

How to withdraw

Let us know before the deadline by writing to city@danskedesignmobler.dk or calling +45 53 51 35 43. State clearly that you wish to withdraw from the purchase and give your order number. You may use the form at the bottom of the page, but you do not have to. The deadline is met if you send your message before it expires.

Furniture exempt from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to furniture made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This includes furniture reupholstered or adapted in the upholstery, colour or with the extras you chose when ordering. If a piece is exempt, this is stated in the product description and the order confirmation. Furniture delivered from stock in the standard finish shown is covered by the right of withdrawal.

Returns

If you withdraw, the furniture must be returned or handed in without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notified us. You pay the direct costs of returning it and bear the risk for the furniture during transport. Pack the furniture securely. We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery. The return address is agreed with the store you bought from and may be one of the following:

Condition of the furniture

You may examine the furniture as you could in a store. If the furniture has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, you are liable for any diminished value, and the amount is deducted from the refund.

Refund

We refund the amount you paid for the furniture, including any delivery costs, but not the extra costs of a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest. The refund is made no later than 14 days after we received your notice of withdrawal, but we may withhold it until we have received the furniture or proof that it has been sent. The amount is returned to the payment method you used for the purchase.
