Terms of sale

This is a translation for your convenience. The Danish version is the legally binding one.

These terms apply to purchases in the online shop at www.danskedesignmøbler.dk and in our stores. By completing a purchase you accept the terms.

Seller

Prices

All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include Danish VAT unless otherwise stated. The price of each piece depends on the chosen upholstery and any extras, and the total price is shown in the bag before you pay. Delivery is chosen at checkout and added to the price: DKK 300 on Zealand, DKK 500 to Funen, Jutland and islands with a bridge, or free pickup in one of our stores. Campaigns and discounts cannot be combined. We reserve the right to cancel a purchase in the event of obvious pricing errors, with a full refund.

Payment

Payment is made via Stripe, a certified payment provider. You can pay with the cards and payment methods shown on the payment page. The amount is reserved and charged when you complete the payment. Card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored by us. You receive an order confirmation by e-mail immediately after payment. Purchases can also be arranged directly with one of our stores.

Delivery and pickup

At checkout you choose delivery or pickup in store. The store then contacts you to arrange the time. Online orders are delivered within Denmark. Delivery to islands without a bridge and abroad is arranged and priced directly with the store. Furniture in stock is normally delivered within about 3 to 5 working days. Made-to-order items, including furniture reupholstered to your choice, have the delivery time stated on the product, typically 4 to 6 weeks.

• Smaller shipments are sent by carrier with track and trace.
• Larger furniture is delivered to the kerb by our own drivers or a transport company. Carrying in and assembly require a separate agreement.
• Pickup is possible in all our stores by appointment. Bring the order confirmation and valid photo ID.

The freight price depends on the piece and the address and is stated before you accept the delivery.

Condition and description

We sell both unused and used, restored design furniture. The condition of each piece is stated on the product page, for example restored, reupholstered or unused. Used furniture may show signs of previous use in line with the description. Images show the model in the stated finish; colour reproduction may vary from screen to screen, and leather is a natural material with natural variations.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the furniture. Furniture that has been reupholstered or adapted to your specifications is exempt from the right of withdrawal. Read the full rules, exceptions and procedure under Right of withdrawal.

Complaints about defects

The Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. You have a 24-month right to complain about defects in both new and used furniture if the defect is not due to normal wear, incorrect use or the condition stated at the time of purchase. Contact us as soon as possible and no later than 2 months after discovering the defect at city@danskedesignmobler.dk. If the complaint is justified, we refund reasonable freight costs.

Disputes

If we cannot agree on a solution, you can complain to the Danish Center for Complaint Resolution (Center for Klageløsning), Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, via naevneneshus.dk. You can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr. State our e-mail address city@danskedesignmobler.dk in the complaint.
