Privacy policy
This is a translation for your convenience. The Danish version is the legally binding one.
Danske Designmøbler ApS is the data controller for the personal data we process when you buy from us, write to us or use www.danskedesignmøbler.dk.
Data controller
Danske Designmøbler ApSDronningens Tværgade 19, st., 1302 København K, DenmarkDanish company reg. no. (CVR) 43832948Phone +45 53 51 35 43E-mail city@danskedesignmobler.dkWhen you buy in the online shop
We process your name, delivery address, e-mail address, phone number and information about what you bought. Payment is made with Stripe, and we do not see your card details; Stripe is an independent data controller for card data. The purpose is to fulfil the purchase contract, deliver the furniture, send an order confirmation and handle withdrawals and complaints. The legal basis is the contract with you, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The Danish Bookkeeping Act requires us to keep purchase records for 5 years from the end of the financial year the purchase relates to, Article 6(1)(c).
When you write to us
If you use the contact form, we process your name, e-mail address, phone number if given, and your message in order to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, Article 6(1)(f). Enquiries are deleted no later than 2 years after the matter is closed, unless they form part of a purchase.
Order confirmations and e-mails
Order confirmations and replies to enquiries are sent via the e-mail service Resend. We do not send newsletters or marketing without your prior consent.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, we process your e-mail address, the time of sign-up, where on the site you signed up and the consent text you agreed to. The subscription only takes effect once you confirm it via the link in the e-mail we send (double opt-in). The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a), and section 10 of the Danish Marketing Practices Act. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every letter or by writing to us; we then stop sending letters, and the address is deleted no later than 30 days after unsubscribing. The letters are sent via Resend, our data processor.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses no tracking or marketing cookies and no analytics tools. After a completed purchase, the thank-you page sends an anonymous, cookieless signal to Google Ads that a purchase took place (amount and order number, no personal data), so that we can measure our advertising. No cookies are set and no personalisation takes place. Your shopping bag is stored locally in your own browser until you empty it, and it does not leave your device until you go to checkout. The map of our stores on the contact page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which thereby receives your IP address. The shop administration uses a necessary login cookie that is only set for our staff.

Retention
Purchase records are kept for 5 years after the end of the financial year because of the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Enquiries are deleted no later than 2 years after they are closed. Information about complaints is kept as long as the right to complain runs and any case has been concluded.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we process about you and to have incorrect data corrected. In certain cases you can demand that data be erased, restricted or provided in a machine-readable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Complaints
You can complain about our processing of your personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, via datatilsynet.dk, or to the data protection authority in your own country. We appreciate it if you contact us first so we can resolve it together.
