We reupholster the Series 7, the Swan, the Egg and other Danish classics in our own workshop. A new cover in leather or fabric, new padding and an overhaul of the frame, so the piece lasts the next twenty years.
Four stores in Copenhagen K, Østerbro, Roskilde and Aalborg, and collection by arrangement throughout Denmark. Fixed prices on the well-known models and quotes for everything else.

Sofas, chairs and cushions
Sofas, easy chairs, dining chairs, benches, cushions and boat cushions are reupholstered on quotation. Send a picture and we will come back with a price.
Get a quotePrices are per piece incl. VAT. The low end applies to standard fabric on a chair in good condition, the high end to leather, special fabrics, armrests or damage. You get a fixed price once we have seen the piece. Read the price guide with worked examples.

Write to us here on the page, or drop by one of our stores with the piece. A few pictures of the chair and the cover are enough for a quote.

Choose the material
We send samples or show them in the store. Leather, wool, bouclé or upholstery fabric, in the colour that suits your home.

We collect, or you drop it off
The piece is dropped off in the store or collected by arrangement. We agree a delivery time once we have seen it.

The piece comes home
You get the piece back, reupholstered and serviced. We stand behind the work and advise on care.

Leather from Sørensen Leather
Our leather comes from Sørensen Leather, the Danish tannery founded in 1973 that also supplies Fritz Hansen and Carl Hansen & Søn. Aniline leather is untreated and develops a beautiful patina. Semi-aniline has a light protection and withstands everyday use at the dining table. We stock cognac, black, brandy, nougat, walnut and mocca as standard and source other colours from the Sørensen collection on request.
Our leather partner
Wool and bouclé
Wool fabrics from Danish suppliers give a soft, contemporary look and come in hundreds of colours. Bouclé adds texture and suits the Swan and the Egg in particular.
Upholstery fabric
Hard-wearing fabrics for chairs used every day and for businesses. We advise on durability, light fastness and care before you choose.

What does it cost to reupholster a Series 7 chair?
Reupholstering the Series 7 costs from DKK 1,500 up to DKK 2,800 per chair incl. VAT, depending on the cover and the condition of the chair. The price depends on the chosen material, and chairs with armrests cost more. Write to us with a picture and you get a fixed price.
How long does reupholstery take?
The delivery time depends on the piece, the material and how many pieces we have in the workshop. We give an expected delivery time once we have seen the piece and the material has been chosen.
Do you collect and deliver furniture?
Yes. Furniture can be dropped off in our stores in Copenhagen K, Østerbro, Roskilde and Aalborg or collected by arrangement. Delivery on Zealand and to Funen, Jutland and islands with a bridge is agreed together with the quote.
Can you reupholster copies and furniture from other manufacturers?
Yes. We reupholster design furniture from Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen & Søn, Erik Jørgensen and other manufacturers as well as ordinary sofas and chairs. The prices on this page apply to the original models; other furniture is quoted from pictures.
Which materials can I choose?
Aniline and semi-aniline leather from Sørensen Leather in many colours, wool and bouclé from Danish suppliers and hard-wearing upholstery fabrics. We advise on what suits the piece and how much it is used.
Can I buy a reupholstered chair instead?
Yes. In the online shop we sell used and newly reupholstered Series 7 chairs and other classics straight away, and we also buy used design furniture.
